There's just a few glitches which i hoped you might be able to offer advice on such as the word wrap, explaining what admin is all about (seems to do nothing other than log you in as a normal user), and the avatar upload thingy.
Since i mentioned it last, i took down the site from the paid hosing account for reasons, and put it ont one of my free hosting accounts which it previously worked on, but again it's not uploading avatars and it's not creating a user folder. It had done previously, maybe an older version?
Anyway, if you do get time to help out it would be much appreciated, it's a cute little forum and i really like it.
Also, if possible there's a couple of other issues you might be able to help with... I put this forum into my own css, basically it's a three column css and i inserted your pages into the center and main column. I have tried to put the log in box in the left column, which i did successfully however if i remove it from the central column it will no longer function. i.e if it shows in both columns i can use either to log in with, but if i delete it from the central column i can no longer use the left log in. And finally....when a user makes a post other users can respond, and the index page shows all new posts. However if someone makes a response o an older post it shows at the top of the index page. Any way of making it so that only new posts show at the top and not the responses?
Sounds like a lot to ask....but i cannot find any other script so suitable for my purpose plus i really like it.
help and advice would be most appreciated! |
